School Cross Country Results 2014
Congratulations on all your great determination and fine sportsmanship at our school cross country event on Wednesday.

Centrals Gymnastics Competition
Congratulations to Eleanor, Poppy and Breana who all took part in the Centrals Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition on Monday 25th of June
Special congratulations to Eleanor for her second place achievement in Level 3.

Zone Swimming Results
Congratulations to all swimming zone competitors. You were great representatives of our school at the zones this afternoon (20th March). You gave every race your best and kept fighting until the end.
There were lots of heats to swim before the finals. I was so impressed to see that almost everyone got into the final for their race.
The results below are our best guess at where everyone came in their races. F = Final with the placing after. H = heat.
If your name is highlighted in yellow I'm expecting that you will be invited to the CENTRALS on the 10th of April.

PS. Well done to all the 8 year olds that competed you did really well. Remember there are no 8 year old races at the centrals even if you were first or second in your race. Sorry.
PPS. Most zones don't even have races for 8 year olds.

I was worried about the weather, but we had already put off the duathlon because of the heavy rain last week.
You are all such good sports.
I can't believe how tough you all are and how many of you swam in the school pool!

We have attempted to make these results as accurate as possible. However, a few competitors finished early and had more than one result recorded.
Middle School Distances
4 Lengths of the pool + 6 Bike laps + 2 Running laps
Senior School Distances
6 Lengths of the pool + 8 Bike laps + 3 Running laps

Added together 169 people raced in our swimming sports.
The results are in. Click on the mini icon to see a full list of the results.
The top two from the 50m races get to go through to the zones. Some children need to choose which races they would most like to enter for the zones. I'm waiting to see if we can send some 8 year olds through to the zones too. Some of you certainly deserve to go through based on your performances.
P.S. Wasn't it great that Sophie Pascoe, our champion Olympic swimmer, stopped her training to wish you all good luck!

Centrals Netball
Congratulations to the Netball A Team for making it through to the Centrals Netball competition on Thursday 29th August.
The netball competition is very well represented by schools across Canterbury.
Our team came second in the draw of teams they played.
They didn't make the final, but they played exceptionally well as a team and made their coach very proud.
This team also achieved second overall for the weekly Friday sport competition.
Congratulations girls.
